Religious Services

We have the most attractive little church 1.5 miles away on the shores of Llangorse Lake. The present church is built on the site of an ancient Celtic church founded by St Gastyn in @AD450. The church was rebuilt in 1848 to 1851. The church has four bells, and Bell Ringing can often be arranged. St Gastyn’s, Llangasty holds maximum 100 people and is a very special place.

For a bigger wedding, St Paulinus’ Church in Llangorse, 4 miles away, can hold at least 200 people. The first reference to a church building is 1211. The present church was constructed in the 15th century; The church has a “weeping sanctuary”, Byfield organ, six bells and mass dial. The church registers date from 1692.

If you wish for a church wedding please contact the vicar directly to make arrangements.
